Artist: Angel Farrah

Album: La Unica

Release Date: Sept. 20, 2019

Buy/Stream album: All streaming platforms

Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,

Today I will be reviewing the EP titled, “La Unica” by my friend Angel Farrah! She is truly a musician she plays the saxaphone, sings and raps in Spanish and English!!! I love her versatility and her change of flow. Each track on this project has a different vibe, style and genre. The EP consists of only 8 tracks and running time of 25 minutes. This album has a little bit of everything for everyone. From dancehall type beats to slowed down r&b ballads. You also get lyrics that are relatable about the ups and down of love and life!

I had a chance to interview Angel and she mentioned the tracklist was placed in a specific order to tell a story. The songs were strategically placed in that order to take us on a journey about Angel’s love life and more! Also her cadence and tone switches up from the beginning to the end of the project. She starts with a mellow soft spoken voice then by the end of the project Angel is more confident and a bit more abrasive! Angel mentioned this is on purpose to reflect where she currently is in her life. She is happy and more confident than she has ever been with herself and her music.

artworks-000505929591-1hlm3f-t500x500
The first track is “Vybez” which is talking about when you feeling that person and the beginning stages of a relationship. Then the second track, “My Love“, which is my favorite track on this project. It’s a hit and I could hear it being played at a party, club or just cruising in a car. It is a feel good love song. Then you get the the song “La Unica” which is about her convincing a guy that she is the only one for him! The track right after is, “Torn in 2” another favorite track of this project. The track is very personal and deep! Angel shares a personal story about her ex and how she loved him, but he was not supportive of her musical career. Her independence scared him. So she chose music!

I won’t give away all the tracks, you gotta listen to this project! The last track I will mention is, “Facts” this song is a banger. You get a trap like beat and Angel goes in! She spits how she is doin herself and being surrounded by fake people, but she can see thru them with her third eye! This is the anthem for the ladies! I definitely recommending checking out this EP! I am not biased because I personally know Angel, but this is really a dope body of work that deserves to be heard! Angel is doing great things and can’t wait to see what she drops next!

Thank you for reading my EP review! Hope you all enjoyed it! Until next time horror fiends and hip hop heads! While you’re at it follow my blog on social media @7octoberz on Instagram and Facebook! NIGHTMARE ON SEDGWICK AVENUE – “OVERCOMING FEAR THRU CREATIVITY – HORRIFIC THOUGHTS INTERVIEW”

BY: GABY MORENO

THOP 19

Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,

Today I will be sharing an interview I did with Pablo the founder of Horrific Thoughts. I stumbled on their clothing brand when I went to the THOP fest a month ago. They were selling t-shirts, beanies and other clothing items. I thought the tee designs were dope! I even copped me a tee. You can see me rockin’ it below. I loved the dark vibe and the horror inspired designs, from what I observed. As a horror fan/t-shirt addict I thought the art was amazing and I wanted to shout out their brand! They are based out in Ontario, CA where the THOP fest took place. Pablo was kind enough and took time out of his schedule to answer the interview questions via email. Thanks to Ariel who facilitated the interview. Without further a do please read below to get to know more about Horrific Thoughts and what they represent!

  1. Please introduce yourself for those who might not know who you are?

Pablo @littlepabloillestever, Horrific Thoughts Founder and Designer.

  2.  When did your clothing business Horrific Thoughts get started and if you can please share what inspired your business and your journey. Also please share where is your business based out of so readers may know.

Horrific Thoughts was started in 2011 by myself with a strong backing from Inzoe (1988-2012), Ariel @arielistic, and Nestor @nes.g_ . We are based out of the Inland Empire, more specifically, Ontario. This started as another artistic outlet for me utilizing my graffiti and tattoo background, which has evolved to us just trying to find a platform to spread positivity and help uplift each other through our art.

  3. What is the meaning behind the name Horrific Thoughts?

Horrific Thoughts was something surrounding our crowd whether it was our upbringings or current surroundings which was also reflected in art/visuals around us. We turned this into a platform to acknowledge we may all have “horrific thoughts”, but we don’t need to fall victim to them, instead we use art as a starting point to begin to overcome them.
  4. What would you like your brand to represent or what does it mean to you?

I want it to represent acceptance and embracing our struggles creating compassion for everyone’s struggles and whatever downfalls they feel they have, but also it’s acknowledging and embracing our own using our various artistic outlets to help us.
  5. I always say Fear is universal it affects everyone. How do you conquer your fears on the daily or any advice you can give to your supporters?

Just gotta get up, go, and get it done. The worst that can happen is failure and there’s always a lesson in that. It’s not all bad, regret is worse than failing.
  6. I first came across your clothing at the THOP Fest this year 2019. How long have you guys been involved in the Hip Hop scene and how did you guys get involved with Hip Hop music scene? We have been involved in the hip hop scene since before the brand, we got into the scene through a lot of our friends who are local hip hop artists with opportunities to vend at their shows and it grew from there
  7. Do you guys have any plans of being vendors at any other events? If so which ones and how did those opportunities come about?

Networking is how we get all of our events nowadays. Other vendors refer us or Event Planners reach out to us having seen us on other events or flyers. We also have a solid street team that tunes us into new events we may not see as well as artists we have grown relationships with that put us on to new crowds. Our next events will be on 11/2 (two events one day) I (Pablo) will be at Hip Hops Most Haunted brought to us by @thestonersystempodcast and Ariel will be at Dia De Los Growing Pains brought to us by @growingpains.ca. This will be our first event with @thestonersystempodcast and our second Growing Pains event. Honestly if you want to be at an event but maybe you aren’t sure of the crowd or a set up fee isn’t in your budget definitely show up to the show for yourself, meet other vendors, meet the coordinators, mingle. The more people we meet the more opportunities we can all share with each other.

  8. What has been your favorite Hip Hop event your clothing line has attended and why?

THOP fest, amazing performers, amazing headliners, amazing crowds. We got to hang out with Grieves! Every event is always amazing, I can’t say we have been to any that did not leave a memorable impact for us, but come on, WE GOT TO HANG OUT WITH GRIEVES!

  9. Who does the t-shirt designs? What or who inspires those designs?

I (Pablo) do. We have another artist on our team @ter5eone that we have dropped a collaboration collection with in 2018. Life inspires these designs, mostly stress, I tend to do my best work under some kind of pressure.

  10. Any horror movies or shows that has inspired any of your t-shirt designs?

We have a stranger things rip, so clearly that inspired us. Other designs have underlying tones of movies like Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street. We are all pretty into horror movies so it’s fun to bounce ideas around or sneak little horror homages into our designs.

  11. You guys also sell hats, hoodies and socks. Is there any other ideas you have in mind to grow your business if you can share. Maybe having emcees or artists wear your brand to promote your business?

Since we started local at Hip Hop and backyard Hardcore shows we have had various local artists wearing our brand since day one. Super cool, when we met Grieves at THOP Fest in 2018 we were able to gift him one of our first Dad Hats and he wore it for the remainder of his tour. We have a pretty solid Street Team and each year we grow a bit more. There’s always new ideas we have in mind, we just like randomly announcing new items or having Pop Up Only sales/gear.

  12. This is a hip hop blog so who is or are your favorite emcees/rappers of all time? Can be more than one.

It changes daily. At this moment in time heavy on rotation is Grieves, Murs, Jelly Roll and Tech N9ne and we always add some new artists to our playlists before/during/after events. It is so cool to do events with so many amazing local artists and over time we develop relationships with them so not only do we get to work alongside them we get great views of them on stage.

  13. This is also a horror blog, what would you say is your favorite scary movie if any and why?

I love all the Halloween movies but I really love Rob Zombies Halloween remakes.

  14. If you could be any horror villain who would you be and why?

Michael Myers because he’s tall but… probably Freddy Kruger because it’s cool to invade peoples dreams.

  15. Do you believe in the supernatural if so have you had any supernatural experiences you can share? Believe in it, yes, nothing significant that I can say I’ve experienced.
  16. What has been your companies greatest accomplishment so far and why is that?

Growing support, it’s crazy, it’s awesome!

  17. What advice would you give to someone who is thinking of starting a clothing business?

Be patient, do your research, be patient.

  18. What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind either creatively or on a personal level?

I don’t really think about that.. I guess I want to create art that has a great impact on people.

  19. Where do you see your clothing line in the next five years and what is your ultimate dream or goal?

Right now we are taking it day by day so I can’t say I have a set five year goal at this moment, just in the past year a lot has changed for us and will continue to, I’m just excited for whatever is next.

  20. Any platforms or people you would like to shout out?

There’s so many people who helped us get to this point. Everyone who rocks our gear, everyone who invites us to events, YOU! Thank you for being our first (official) interview. The list is endless. Shouts out to the New?Love Network, all of us local homies who have been through it all the past decade or so. Catch us all doing various things at local events! @zzay92 for always putting us on to new events and keeping us in mind. @60east and the entire THOP Fest team for amazing events where we met @theguttedcigar and @bricktoyaface who both constantly keep us in mind and are great people to run into anywhere. Lastly our HT Fam, thanks to everyone who is constantly supporting, re-posting, sharing posts, liking posts, providing feedback, offering time out to model gear for us, sewing, folding, cutting stickers, packaging orders, driving to the post office. I am one man, but I have a great team!

NIGHTMARE ON SEDGWICK AVENUE – “LIMITLESS BEING!!! -VERSOUL – SOULRISE ALBUM REVIEW”

BY: GABY MORENO

a1072093668_10

Artist: Versoul

Album: Soulrise

Release Date: December 31, 2018

Buy/Stream album: All streaming platforms

Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,

Today I will be reviewing Versoul’s album titled, “Soulrise“. Versoul is from the Bay area. She is an energetic, positive and dope emcee! I honestly had not heard of Versoul or her music. I actually had the opportunity to meet Versoul in person when I saw her open for Gavlyn and Reverie’s ‘Heart N Hustle’ Tour. The last stop of the tour took place in my hometown of San Diego at the AC Lounge. It was definitely memorable show! The energy in that room was crazy! Versoul made me a supporter that night. She slayed her performance. Her lyrics are very relatable and have a real message which grabbed by attention.

I introduced myself to Versoul after her performance. She is very humble! I told her I ran this blog/podcast and that I would like to interview her in the near future. She said she would be down! I also told her I would review any music she had out. She mentioned she had an album that released last year. I copped me a physical copy of Soulrise. I finally had a chance to listen to it in its entirety. The album consists of 10 tracks with 37 minutes running time. Versoul can shape shift in her music

Versoul is from the Bay area and you can tell from the production. You get that popular Bay area sound. I love that Versoul incorporates her multi ethnic culture in her music. The whole album is very inspirational! The intro track, “Soulrise” sets the tone. The track is about being happy where she is today and even if she died her soul would rise! She also raps about people who have been fake, but she also met dope people who were supportive. Then the second track “Limitless” has a darker beat which I love! The song is about fighting and not giving up! In this album you get a mixture of lyrical tracks to turn up music! The track “Bang” is an uptempo beat with a hard bass! It is a dope song about loving your hair and self care. Then a storytelling track and one of my favorites from the project, “Remember to Feel“. This track is empowering for women! The new anthem for the ladies!

This album has a little bit of everything. For Hip Hop fans who enjoy versatility check out Versoul! She is a dope lyricist, storyteller, positive messages in her music and we learn a bit about her and her struggles and how she pulled through! Very motivational project! Definitely recommend putting this album in rotation! Versoul is very talented she also produced some of the beats on this project. Can’t wait to hear what she brings next! Gotta pay the Bay area a visit soon!

Thank you for reading my album review! Hope you all enjoyed it! Until next time horror fiends and hip hop heads! Event : Day of the Dead

Organizer: Pure Art Entertainment

Date/Location: Tuesday October 29, 2019 at The Go Lounge

Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,

Today I will be sharing a write up about the event I had the opportunity to be a part of thanks to Fade Green and Fino who run Pure Art Entertainment. When they told me they were throwing a Halloween Event and if I wanted to be a part of it, I was honored and hyped! The event took place on Tuesday Oct. 29, 2019 at The Go Lounge. The event consisted of beat sets, live performances from dope local emcees, food vendors and even art/clothing vendors. I helped a bit to set up the spooky decorations to give it the Halloween atmosphere. From the beginning of the night to the end I felt the positive energy!

IMG_0178There was an open mic at the beginning the night where any emcee could get on the mic and rap over the producers beat sets. Poser the homie and local emcee rocked the mic a few times. Some of the Producers rocking the beat sets were Rari Komai, Admiral Atlas (played his bass too!), Dayfade, Kendall Carter and Raaw.Xney! For performances we got the no fucks given and energetic emcee who is also the homie Legion X! If you really want to get the crowd riled up and moving he is the dude for that! His stage presence is like no other! He is in full costume from the face paint to his man made strobe light stage box. It is one of those performances that you have to see live and it cannot be explained only felt!

IMG_0131

My spooky sis Yazi also performed and killed it with her metaphysical rhymes and rapid flow! Her and Legion X also performed a song together and rocked their individual glow in the dark masks! The man of the hour Fade Green also performed a few songs as well! He is one of my favorite performers he has so much versatility! Not only can he rap, but he also has a dope singing voice! Fade is a true performer it is mesmerizing see him perform he also got moves! He is the embodiment of a true artist!
IMG_0139
We were not only celebrating Halloween and Day of the Dead that night, but also Fino’s birthday! Fino’s homie Nomadic (Darian) made him a cookies and cream cannabis infuse ice cream cake! It was dope night with amazing people who happen to be talented artists and creatives! San Diego is full of talent and events like these are needed to showcase their skills. Events like these allow people to escape their daily routines, enjoy a night filled with positivity and just vibe out to dope music! I am glad I was a part of this! I hope more events like this will continue to happen!IMG_0113
This is dope for the community as well since artists get to chill with their supporters that are not necessarily their peers, but just people who love music and can become potential lifetime fans! Thank you Pure Art Entertainment for what you are doing for the Hip Hop scene and for the music scene overall!

NIGHTMARE ON SEDGWICK AVENUE – “YOU’LL LAUGH YOUR BRAINS OFF!!! -ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP MOVIE REVIEW”

BY: GABY MORENO

Artboard-1_759x597-1

Movie: Zombieland: Double Tap

Main Cast: Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Zoey Deutch, Rosario Dawson.

IMDB synopsis:
“Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita, and Little Rock move to the American heartland as they face off against evolved zombies, fellow survivors, and the growing pains of the snarky makeshift family.”

New Horror Rule: Having no brains = Survival

Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,

Today I will be reviewing Zombieland: Double Tap starring the original cast from the first one. This movie was hilarious from start to finish. It was a bit too much in some moments, but overall it kept its momentum. I was intrigued with the storyline. I honestly I didn’t think we needed a sequel since I had no idea where they would go, but they did they thing with the plot! They pick up where we left off with the veteran Zombie survivors Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita and Little Rock. They are now staying at The White House! They are trying to live a semi normal life in the Zombie Apocalypse, but things never go as planned. We are introduced to new type of Zombies that have mutated, some stronger and smarter than others.

I loved the “T-800” zombie it definitely was paying homage to The Terminator! We are also introduced to new characters. My two new favorite characters were Madison and Nevada! Madison played by Zoey Deutch definitely stole the show! Her charisma, dumb funny comments and performance was on point! I always love me some comedy mixed with horror! I have a dark sense of humor so this is definitely for those of us who love morbid comedy! If you loved the first film definitely check this movie out! You will laugh, cry and enjoy the action! Plus you see an old friend from the first film that didn’t survive the Zombie Apocalypse. Let’s just say he is a comedic legend!

NIGHTMARE ON SEDGWICK AVENUE – “GROOVY SD HORROR MUSICAL!!! -THE EVIL DEAD MUSICAL REVIEW”

BY: GABY MORENO

evil-dead-the-musical-small

Title of Musical: Evil Dead The Musical

Directed By: Carlyn Thometz

Produced by: The Casual Company

Show Dates: Started Oct. 18th and runs thru Oct. 27th

Location: Tenth Avenue Arts Center (930 Tenth Ave. SD, CA 92101)

Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,

Today I will give a short review of Evil Dead The Musical. This was my first musical play and of course it had to be a horror musical play! I had heard about this play last year. It is no secret I am a huge fan of the Evil Dead series from the mythology, the movies, show and Ash Williams being my favorite anti-hero! When I heard the play was coming back to my hometown of San Diego I was hyped!

20191019_194744

The play was about 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission in between. It took place at the tenth avenue arts center which I have never been to. According to the staff the venue is actually haunted. They even had a haunted tour after the show. I did not get a chance to check it out, but it is on my list now! There is also the blood splatter zone which is the first 3 rows. I was on the fourth row and got splashed a bit towards the end. I guess it isn’t a real Evil Dead show without the blood and gore! The cast did a great job. Nolan Palm played Ash Williams, Harmonie Rose as Linda and Anna Machica as Cheryl. Anna did a killer job as Cheryl!

20191019_192740

This musical was in the same vein as the movies and tv show you get a mix of horror and comedy. The make up, effects and set were pretty spot on. They could have been a bit better, but having it be a fast paced play they did what they could with the time they had. The storyline was a bit different from the movies. They tried to incorporate all the mythology from all 3 films and the tv show. I enjoyed it since it made it less predictable. Definitely recommend checking out this musical you will have a hell of a time!!!(pun intended). My mom and I had a bloody good time! You will laugh, be entertained walk out a bit bloody, but you will enjoy the show!

Thank you for reading my review. Hope you all enjoyed it! Until next time horror fiends and hip hop heads! While you’re at it follow my blog on social media @7octoberz on Instagram and Facebook! NIGHTMARE ON SEDGWICK AVENUE – “CREATIVE HORROR QUEEN!!! – NATASHA PASCETTA INTERVIEW”

BY: GABY MORENO
60354420_2162163620496794_2136151840645971968_o

Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,

Today I will be sharing an interview I did with my favorite horror journalist Natasha Pascetta! She is not only a journalist she is a true renaissance women! She is a Producer, Director, Writer, Podcaster, etc. She is definitely a true creative! She works for FANGORIA as well and hosts two of their Podcasts, “CLASS OF” and now she also hosts, “The Creepshow Show”. I was fortunate enough to have sent her over a few interview questions. Natasha is very humble and was open to answering my interview questions. The power of social media has its advantages, in this case it has allowed me to connect to people I am inspired by. Natasha was also kind enough to have sent me a link to screen her short film,”Road Trash“, which I have reviewed. You can click this link to read if you are interested: https://7octoberz.com/2019/10/14/nightmare-on-sedgwick-avenue-a-grimm-fairy-tale-road-trash-movie-review/ . Without further a do please read below to get to know more about Natasha!

1.Please introduce yourself for those who might not know who you are.

Hi! My name is Natasha and I’m a filmmaker from Dallas, TX. I love all things spooky and creature features are my favorite!

2. Please tell us about your journey in the entertainment/media industry. How did you get involved with FANGORIA?

I got my start in the entertainment industry working as an intern for The Glenn Beck radio program. I interned on the show for two years while attending Fordham University. After I graduated, I was hired as a producer and spent almost a decade working on the show. I have always had a passion for horror and decided it was time to pursue a career in that arena. Fortuitously, FANGORIA  was resurrected in Dallas, TX and I was lucky enough to join the new team. Now, I get to talk about horror movies all day and create digital content for horror lovers around the world — it’s amazing!

3. You are multi-talented! You are a Writer, Actress, Producer and Director. How did you get involved in those arenas? Which do you enjoy doing the most and why?

Thank you! I wouldn’t say I’m talented at anything, actually! I just try stuff and see what works and what doesn’t! I got involved with these roles because I knew no one was going to hire me for these positions. I had no prior experience directing, writing, acting or producing in the horror realm, but I knew I deeply wanted to experience those roles. So instead of waiting around for an invitation that would never present itself, I decided to hire myself in these roles that’s why I dreamt up Road Trash.

4. You wrote, produced and directed your short film Road Trash. It is a very unique concept . How did that movie come about and what or who inspired the film? How did you begin writing it, did you already have a concept in mind?

I started thinking about a simple, original story that I knew I could technically, logistically, and financially (for the most part!) accomplish. I am a huge Tim Burton fan and I was heavily inspired by his personal story. He started out making short films. His first short films VINCENT and FRANKENWEENIE are very dear to me and I sort of dreamed up Road Trash as a spiritual tribute to these shorts with the hope that my short could one day be as endearing to people.

5. Heather Langenkamp from Nightmare on Elm Street narrates Road Trash which is really amazing! I know you spoke about this in a previous interview with Morbidly Beautiful, but for those who have not read that interview how did she become involved in the project?

I made a clear choice to have Road Trash narrated because 1) I didn’t have the money for an on-set audio engineer 2) I didn’t have the confidence that I, as an actress, could pull off believable dialogue so that’s why the short is narrated! I made a list of my top dream picks for the narrator and Heather was #1. I didn’t have any horror connections at this point in the career and I simply reached out to her agent and miraculously she liked the script! It was truly an amazing experience to work with Heather and have her involved in the short! What a dream come true!

IMG_7844

6. Road Trash was your first film, can we expect more future films or tv shows in the works from you?

Yes! Creating Road Trash was truly one of the highlights of my life. It has brought me so much joy that I couldn’t imagine now trying to do many more!

7. What made you fall in love with the horror genre?

As I mentioned earlier, I’m a huge Tim Burton fan. The first movie I can remember falling in love with was THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS when I was six years old. I just felt like I understood Jack and that we had a connection. I love Burton’s blend of innocence and macabre!

8. What has been your greatest accomplishment so far as a creative?

I would definitely have to say Road Trash. It is an incredible experience to have a dream in your head and then will it into reality!

9. You also do two FANGORIA podcasts (CLASS OF and The Creepshow Show) and do an amazing job. I love your interviews on the Class Of Podcast. How has that experience been? You have the opportunity to interview actors, directors, crew members etc., any favorite interview so far? If so why?

Thank you for listening! I come from a radio background so it has been really cool to use my audio producing skills again and this time, I get to be the host, too! I love doing the FANGORIA shows and I hope that they are useful and provide value to all the horror fans out there. I would have to say my two favorite CLASS OF episodes where with Jocelyn Jones (Molly from TOURIST TRAP) because it was her first podcast interview ever and Don Coscarelli (director of PHANTASM) because I love his work so much.

10. What are your top 5 favorite horror films and why?

Wow, this is a tough one! Ok here it goes: PHANTASM, EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, GREMLINS, ARMY OF DARKNESS AND THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

I think I love these movies because there is that thread of goodness and laughter that balances between the darker imagery found in these movies. I also love a good villain and/or creature juxtaposed with heroes (or an anti-hero — I’m looking at you Ash!).

11. Who is your favorite horror villain? If you could be any horror villain who would you be and why?

My favorite horror villain is The Tall Man from PHANTASM! Angues Scrimm was just so wonderful in that role. I wish I could have met him. If  I could be any villain, I’d want to be Sammi Curr from TRICK OR TREAT. No one is more badass than Sammi Curr!

12. Who is your favorite scream queen or final girl and why?

I really love Angela Baker from SLEEPAWAY CAMP! Such a heartbreaking and complicated character played by the amazingly kind and wonderful Felissa Rose!

13. Do you believe in the supernatural if so have you had any supernatural experiences you can share?

I definitely believe in the supernatural! I watch Ghost Adventures religiously haha. I believe my parent’s home is haunted and that something lives in my childhood bedroom — I actually was so scared of my room that I slept on the floor in my parent’s room most nights!

14. Any legends or stories you grew up being told that scared you as a kid if you can share?

I grew up in NJ and my favorite magazine growing up was Weird NJ which reported all the local urban legends and happenings. I don’t recall a specific story, but I read about them all in Weird NJ!

15. What advice would you give to someone who might be thinking of entering the entertainment/media industry?

Do it! If it’s something you’re passionate about, do it. Don’t wait for someone to invite you to do something, start making things happen for yourself! You possess the power to do anything you set your mind to!

16. As a female in the horror community have you had to face struggles to be where you are now? Do you feel the horror community has embraced you?

I have always felt embraced and encouraged in the horror community! My greatest friends, mentors, role models, collaborators have mostly been men and they have all been so wonderful.

17. Also what advice or tips would you give women who are entering the horror community that allowed you to thrive?

Be confident in your abilities and your vision. And if you’re not confident, fake it till you make it girl! If you pretend you’re confident enough, you’ll actually get there.

18. What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind either creatively or on a personal level?

Wow, that’s a deep question! I just didn’t want to look back and say “what if..” We all only have one life. We have a finite amount of time. Don’t spend one second of this precious gift being unhappy. I truly believe happiness is a choice. Choose it.

19. Where do you see yourself in the next five years and what is your ultimate dream or goal?

I would love to continue making horror stories come to life, whether that be more independent shorts or bigger things. I’m open to as many opportunities as I can create for myself!

20. Any platforms or people you would like to shout out.

Thank you for this opportunity, Gaby!
